A Few Common Questions:

I want to sign up, but I don’t want to use my credit card. Can I pay by check?

Yes, of course. We accept check, cash, as well as all major credit cards. All payment is due prior to the first session. Just give us a call our office at 203-861-7810 to make payment arrangements.

Why aren’t lab tests in your packages covered by insurance?

To make a full assessment of one’s health status, many tests are often required. Some might be covered by your insurance if you were provided with a diagnostic ICD 10 code, which we do not provide in these Wellness Coaching Packages. Many tests would not be covered by insurance because they may not be perceived to be directly related to your diagnostic code. Also, when billing through insurance companies, many laboratories mark up the costs of tests excessively, leaving many patients with a balance to pay. In our premium wellness coaching packages we heavily discount all our lab tests off the retail price. Most importantly, by having your lab tests bundled in our premium packages and paying directly, you are in charge of your health, not the insurance companies.

I’m a resident of New York, New Jersey or Rhode Island. Can I still participate in your wellness coaching programs and get the testing I need?

Yes, but residents of these states may have some minor changes made to their functional medicine testing. Certain laboratory services are restricted in New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island. The laws in these states require that the patient’s personal physician order any lab work; a copy of this order must be presented at the laboratory. If your state does not permit laboratory testing without a personal physician’s order, you are welcome to get tested in adjoining states. Your professional test results will still be valid, and basically the same as if they were collected within your own state.
